Dr Fakhrul Hasan has been teaching for a number years now at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. He taught at the De Montfort University, University of Cumbria and Keele University before joining the Liverpool Hope University.

Fakhrul has been active in doing research in the area of Accounting and Finance. He has published a number of research papers in various internationally reputed journals.

Research Interests

Fakhrul's research agenda focuses on behavioural asset pricing and dividend policy. In particular, investigates how psychological and sociological forces affect decision making under risk and may sway the behaviour of individual investors and the dynamics of financial markets. Also he is working on capitalism effect on dividend policy and business innovation and sustainability.
