I hold a B.A. Hons in Three-Dimensional Design and an M.A. in Industrial Design from Manchester Metropolitan University.
My current practice-led PhD study is centred upon nostalgia and design, with a focus on how nostalgic experience can be enhanced through design.
Since 2005, I have worked in Higher Education, so have extensive teaching experience that spans a broad spectrum of creative practice and visual communication including graphic design, fine art and industrial design.
My professional practice is multifaceted, encompassing a range of both commercial and non-commercial projects. My work spans branding and identity, furniture, product and exhibition design, research and product development, as well as art direction and installations.
