I am a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood. I joined Liverpool Hope University in 2012 as a
PDTF in Education/ Early Childhood. I have been a kindergarten teacher in the
past and my PhD thesis examined young children's decision making in
probabilistic and risk-taking games. I teach on undergraduate and postgraduate
courses and currently my research interests incorporate both methodological and
theoretical issues on teaching and learning as well as aspects of cognitive
development in early childhood; reasoning, perception, risk-taking. I am a
member of the OMEP UK Executive Committee, I co-convene the EECERA ‘Holistic
Well-being’ SIG and am a SFHEA.
