Biography

Dr Smyth is an aeolian and coastal geomorphologist, with experience in both laboratory and field-based teaching  and research. Particular areas of interest include computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling of near surface flow in marine, terrestrial and martian environments, measurement of near-surface wind flow over complex topography using ultrasonic anemometry and GIS.
