I joined the School in 2019 as a Senior Lecturer in Mathematical Sciences. Previously I held various positions, Lecturer in Mathematics (University of Kent, 2015-2018), Research Fellow (University of Leeds, 2011-2015), Newton International Fellow (Royal Society Fellowship, 2009-2011), and Research participant of the research programme Discrete Integrable Systems (Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences, University of Cambridge, 2009)I received my Postgraduate Certificate of Higher Education (PGCHE) in 2017 from the University of Kent and I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
My research is in the area of integrable systems and I am particularly interested in the integrability aspects of systems of difference equations (symmetries, conservation laws and integrability conditions), the extension of the theory to noncommutative systems, and the development of methods and algorithms for their analysis using software for symbolic computations.
I have over 20 publications, and I have presented my work in many national and international events.

I am a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics & its Applications, member of the London Mathematical Society and of the International Society of Difference Equations, and a topic editor for the journal Symmetry.
